Christopher
Lee
SCM CSU Craiova (Liga Nationala) tabbed 32-year old American power forward Christopher Lee (206-85, college: South Carolina State). He played most recently at ES Rades in Tunisian Division I.
The previous (14-15) season Lee played at CSU Sibiu where in 24 Liga Nationala games he averaged 12.5ppg, 8.7rpg and 1.3apg. He helped them to make it to the Romanian Cup Semifinals. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention. Lee also spent pre-season at Lugano Tigers (LNA) in Swiss league that year. He was also tried-out by Dukes Unlimited Den Bosch (Eredivisie) in Dutch league.
Among other achievements Lee's team was regular season runner-up in Portuguese League in 2010. He received also Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Import Player of the Year award back in 2013.
Lee is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Lee has played previously professionally in Chile (Espanol de Talca), Germany (Giants and Ludenscheid), Mexico (Guerreros), Spain (Navarra), Uruguay (Malvin) and Portugal (Ovarense and Esgueira / Oli).
He attended South Carolina State until 2007 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Lee's outlook: Chris can score with his back to the bucket or face up. He is good with the Pick and Roll and Pick and Pop and can hit the 3 point shot if needed. He has a soft touch and can score 17 feet in. He is a strong offensive and defensive rebounder and starts the fast break very effectively and can run the floor in transition. Chris can defend the 3-5 and yet be very aggressive on the boards while netting 1-2 blocks per game. He is a defensive presence in the paint.. Good on week side help defense. Great character on and off the court.
