Italy outgunned Tunisia in the preparation game for the upcoming Mediterranean Games. David Cournooh (188-G-90) stepped up with 13 points to lead the Azzurri to the victory in Istanbul.
Italy held their opponents to just 8 points in the first term. The Azzurri gained a 6-point lead at the first break. Italy maintained the lead throughout the second period. They established a 29:21 halftime lead. The gap grew in the third period. The Azzurri piled up a 14-point advantage at the final intermission 45:31. Tunisia tried to put up a comeback in the fourth period but just stopped short of victory at the end. Luca Vitali (201-PG-86) and Valerio Mazzola (205-PF-88) netted 8 points each for the winners. Macram Ben Romdhane (204-PF-89, agency: Prossin Sports Management Inc.) responded with 16 points for Tunisia. Mokhtar Ghayaza (204-C-86) and Salah Mejri (217-C-86) netted 10 points each in the loss.

E.S.Sahel wins 2012/2013 Finals as they posted two victories against E.S.Rades. In Game 1 E.S.Sahel won 69:67 and then added 75:67 victory in Game 2. In total is gave the winners 144-134 victory.

E.S.Rades and E.S.Sahel advanced to the Final that will be played on April 27th. E.S.Sahel needed two victories against C.Africain in the Semifinals stage. At first Sahel posted a 62:51 win and then added a 73:55 victory. E.S.Rades meanwhile needed three games for two victories. Rades won the opener against Stade Nabeulien 66:61, but then lost the second game 69:71. In the decisive third game E.S.Rades posted a 57:54 narrow win.
