Profile Thrash Shinyanga in Friendly - Apr 5, 2015

MWANZA'S Profile have thrashed Shinyanga combined 68-58 in a friendly basketball match held at BoT Ground in Pasiansi area. Speaking after the match, Shinyanga captain Henry Kisinja thanked Profile for displaying a beautiful game and promised to invite them for a replay. Profile captain Basalile Mponjoli said that his team will work hard to produce good players. Mwanza Regional Basketball Association (MRBA) Chairman Juvenile Kaiza said the main aim of the bonanza is to cement relationship between Mwanza and Shinyanga regions in basketball. He also spoke about the Labour Day Basketball Cup scheduled for May 1-5 at the BoT Ground. "Teams that will participate in the tournament are Bugando Planet, Profile, Cuhas, Eagles, Mwanza Dolphins, Butimba Spiders, Saut, Heat and Bugando Warriors, all from Mwanza," he said. Shinyanga teams are Risasi, Bees, Miembeni and White Sox. Referees for the tournament will be Aidan Abdul, Shomari Almasi and Benson Nyasebwa.
