Today's Sudanese college players such as Marier 'Mike' Angui (211-C), Longar Longar (210-C) or Bil Duany (201-G/F) will be joined soon by more promising countrymen , as with Luol Deng (201-F-85, college: Duke) and Deng Gai (206-F-82, college: Fairfield) in the NBA, the trend of US and Canadian Colleges to sign big men out of the Sudan is gibing the next generation a chance to showcase their skills in front of a bigger audience.Major colleges got an eye on players like Nyal “Mac” Koshwal , a 6-9 post player who is making big strides at recently founded Boys to Men Prep in Chicago. Together with him, another Sudanese player could be soon in the NCAA, Thijin Moses also playing the post with his muscular 6-8 frame , is another raw diamond with plenty of upside and enrolled at Boys to Men Prep , both players are coached by the former head coach of the Chicago Julian High School where Moses and Koshwal were ruled ineligible to play in the past years. Riiny will be the tallest player in the history of the school and the coaches hope that he has an immediate impact on the team.
