The South African National Basketball squad returns to South Africa on Wednesday evening after winning bronze medal at the first-ever 2017 BRICS Games in Guangzhou China. The South Africans beat India 88-75 in the play-offs to earn themselves the medal in a nail-biting encounter. Russia rout South Africa in BRICS Games opener - 9 days ago
Russia-South Africa 74-45 Russia opened their Brics Games campaign with a confident win over South Africa in the opener. Russia rout the opponents 74-45 in Chinese Guangzhou. Russia managed to win all the quarters in the game including the second frame 23-6. Although at the halftime the favorites enjoyed a 38-16 surge.
