N.C. Zebras' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Kwazulu, where they outplayed Marlins (3-5) 70-46 on Saturday. N.C. Zebras maintains tenth position with 1-4 record. It was Marlins' third loss in a row. They keep the seventh place with five games lost. N.C. Zebras are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Eagles (#11) in the next round. Marlins will have a break next round.
The game in Kwazulu was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Limpopo Pride (5-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Marlins (3-5). Limpopo Pride managed to secure a 8-point victory 71-63. Limpopo Pride moved-up to third place. Marlins lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with five games lost. Limpopo Pride will play against league's second-placed Magic in Johannesburg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Marlins will have a break next round.
The game in Cape was also quite interesting. Top-ranked Magic (5-0) played at the court of 6th ranked Mountaineers (3-2). Magic defeated Mountaineers 94-78 on Sunday. Undefeated Magic have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 5-0 record behind leader Soweto P. Mountaineers at the other side keep the sixth place with two games lost. Magic will meet Limpopo Pride (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Mountaineers will play against N.C. Zebras and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 6: W.C. Mountaineers were beaten by Limpopo Pride on the road 76-58. Free State W. won against E.C. Windbreakers on its own court 64-48. E.C. Windbreakers unfortunately lost to Mpumalanga R. in Mbombela 58-75. Free State W. managed to beat N.C. Zebras at home 90-86.

Kwazulu Marlins - Limpopo Pride 63-71
