Neo Mothiba
Defending champion Egoli Magic (BNL) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old swingman Neo Mothiba (199-90kg-82). He has played for the last one seasons at Tshwane Suns in South African BNL league.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won South African BNL championship title for two years in a row (2013 and 2014). Mothiba was also voted All-South African BNL Player of the Year and All-South African BNL Domestic Player of the Year back in 2013.
He was also a member of South African international program for some years. Mothiba played for South African Senior National Team between 2005 and 2014 and previously for University National Team in 2003.
He also represented South Africa at the African Championships in Madagascar five years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 9.0ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.6spg, FGP: 37.9%, 3PT: 18.5%, FT: 66.7%.
Mothiba has spent his entire career in South Africa playing for two other teams: Cape Town Eagles and Panthers.

Host teams show no mercy winning all games. The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Mountaineers (2-1) on the court of sixth ranked N.C. Zebras on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by N.C. Zebras 74-70. Despite that victory N.C. Zebras went down to seventh position due to points difference.
