Bamba Fall
Tallinna Ulikool/Kalev (Alexela KML) agreed terms with 31-year old Senegalese ex-international center Bamba Fall (217-107kg-86, college: SMU). He played most recently at Azad in Iranian Superleague. Fall managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 16 Superleague games he had 6.7ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.2bpg in 2015-16 season. He also played that season for Sigal Prishtina (SuperLeague) in Kosovo where in three games he recorded 9.3ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.7bpg. Fall also played 1 game in FIBA Europe Cup, but he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound, 2 assists and 1 steal.
In 2010 (a year after he left the college) Fall was drafted by Reno Bighorns (D-League) as #1 pick overall.
He attended Southern Methodist University until 2009. It will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Fall was voted Eurobasket.com All-Baltic League Defensive Player of the Year back in 2013.
He also represented Senegal at the African Championships in Angola ten years ago.
Fall is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Israel (Galil Gilboa and Hapoel Afula), Latvia (VEF Riga), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo) and NBA G League (Maine Red Claws).
Fall could be described: A tall and lanky player with gerat upside. Has a very skinny body, but plays hard and understands the game. Rebounds and shot-blocking are his best skills, but he should add a reliable shot and beef up a lot more.
