Thiam has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
Among other achievements he won Saudi Arabian League championship title in 2015. Thiam received also ABA SouthWest Division 1st Team All-Star award back in 2013.
He played at the Arab Club Championships three years ago.
Thiam is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Asia, Africa and of course North America) in six different countries. Thiam has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Sitra), Japan (Toyama Grouses), Qatar (Al Sadd), Saudi Arabia (Uhud) and ABA (N.Dallas V.).
