Bnei Hertzeliyya (Winner League) inked 30-year old Senegalese international center Hamady N'diaye (213-109kg-87, college: Rutgers). It is actually his comeback to Bnei Hasharon as he has played here before. N'diaye has a double citizenship as he also holds Filipino passport. N'diaye played recently at Unicaja in Spanish Liga Endesa, but left the team. In 13 Liga Endesa games he recorded just 1.8ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.2bpg this season. N'diaye also played 10 games in Eurocup where he averaged 4.6ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.2bpg. The last season N'diaye played at Bnei Hertzeliyya. In 35 Winner League games he had 6.9ppg, 5.1rpg and 2.4bpg. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Defensive Player of the Year and voted to Honorable Mention.
N'diaye has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
He also represented Senegal at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) four years ago. N'diaye's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 7 games: 5.3ppg, 3.7rpg, Blocks-2 (2.1bpg), FGP: 57.1%, FT: 71.4%.
N'diaye is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). N'diaye has played previously professionally in China (TianJin Steel, Guangzhou Liu Sui and Guangxi), Lebanon (Byblos), NBA (Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings), D-League (Reno Bighorns, Maine Red Claws and Delaware 87ers) and Philippines (Mahindra).
He attended Rutgers, The State University until 2010 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
