Ndiaye
Detroit Pistons strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old Senegalese international center Mamadou Ndiaye (229-136kg-93). He just graduated from Cal-Irvine (NCAA). Ndiaye has played there for the last three years. In 37 games he recorded 12.1ppg, 7.2rpg and 2.4bpg last season. Ndiaye helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Great season indeed as he was selected All-Big West Defensive Player of the Year and voted to All-Big West 1st Team and voted to NABC All-District 9 2nd Team.
He has never been drafted by the NBA.
As mentioned above Ndiaye is just out of the college and it will be his first season as a pro.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won Big West Tournament in 2015. Ndiaye received also John R. Wooden High School Player of the Year award for CIF Division V award back in 2013.
He represented Senegal at the CIT Championship Finalist this year.
Ndiaye has played previously for DUC Dakar.
