Ousmane
Gueye
Dino Bigioni Shoes Montegranaro (Serie B) added to their roster experienced 34-year old Senegalese guard Ousmane Gueye (192-82kg-82). He played last season at Aurora Basket Jesi in the Serie A2. In 29 games he had 9.4ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.2apg and 1.0spg. Serie B will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
The previous (14-15) season Gueye played at U.S. Basket Recanati (A2 Silver) where in 30 games he recorded 9.8ppg and 1.7rpg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com Italian Nazionale A All-Defensive Team back in 2013. Gueye was a member of Senegalese Senior National Team back in 2011.
He has spent his entire career in Italy playing for six other teams: Verona, Scafati, Riva del Garda, San Severo, FCM Ferentino and GSA Amici Pallacanestro Udine.
On Gueye: A solid-bodied guard with a very good outside shot and some instinctive skills that can change the course of a game. Plays with great aggressiveness, can be effective even at the defensive side.
