Ugo Nwaigwe (ex Lanus) is a newcomer at Yakin Dogu Universitesi B.G.D. - Sep 13, 2017

Ugo Nwaigwe
Yakin Dogu Universitesi B.G.D. (KBSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old Nigerian international center Ugo Nwaigwe (190-93, college: Temple, agency: GoaBasket). She has a double citizenship as she also holds American passport. Nwaigwe played in the summer at Atletico Lanus in Argentinian Superliga. In 13 games she recorded 7.0ppg and 5.8rpg. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. The last season Nwaigwe played at Spar Gran Canaria in Spanish LFB where in 25 games she averaged 3.4ppg and 3.6rpg.
Nwaigwe received All-NEC Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2014 at her college time. Nwaigwe has been regularly called to Nigerian Senior National Team since 2016.
She graduated from Temple University in 2016 and it will be her second season in pro basketball.
