Andy Ogide (ex Bambitious Nara) joins Roseto - Aug 9, 2017

Mec-Energy Roseto (Serie A2) agreed terms with 30-year old Nigerian international forward Andy Ogide (204-102kg-87, college: Colorado State, agency: HMS). He played last season at Bambitious Nara in Japanese B League D2. In 59 games he had 12.7ppg and 6.7rpg.
The previous (15-16) season Ogide played at Hapoel Migdal Haemek (National League) in Israel where in 23 games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 12.0rpg (#4 in the league), 1.4apg and 1.0spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Honorable Mention.
He was voted NABC Division I All-District 17 1st Team back in 2011 at his college time.
Ogide also represented Nigeria at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) last year. His stats at that event were 5 games: 4.4ppg, 1.2rpg.
Ogide has played also professionally in France (Poitiers), Russia (Universitet Yugra) and Spain (Ourense, Leche Rio Breogan and Gipuzkoa).
He attended Colorado State until 2011 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
