Suleiman
Braimoh
Enisey Krasnoyarsk (VTB) landed 28-year old Nigerian international power forward Suleiman Braimoh (203-104kg-89, college: Rice). It is actually his comeback to Krasnoyarsk as he has played here before. Braimoh played most recently at JSF Nanterre in French ProA. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In three ProA games he averaged 4.7ppg and 2.3rpg. Braimoh also played that season for Enisey where in 16 FIBA Europe Cup games he had 9.9ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. Braimoh also played 27 games in VTB United League where he recorded 13.3ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg.
Among other achievements Braimoh's team won Qatar Heir Apparent Cup in 2013. He received also Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Player of the Year award back in 2014.
Braimoh played at the Gulf Club Championships Semifinals four years ago.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Braimoh experienced life in six different countries playing on five different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, Australian and of course North American leagues. Braimoh has played previously professionally in Germany (Giessen 46ers), Japan (Niigata Albirex and Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano), Mexico (Huracanes), New Zealand (Hawks and Mountain Airs), Qatar (Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa) and D-League (Reno Bighorns).
He attended Rice University until 2011 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Braimoh's outlook: Can shoot 35% from 3 point line. Can handle the ball off the dripple and can penetrate and finish well. Still needs a little more polish on his skills. But is a great defensive player, hard working and a natural ability to rebound.
