Efe Odigie
Union Poitiers Basket 86 (ProB) strengthened their roster with addition of American (has also Nigerian passport) power forward Efe Odigie (203). He moved there from ES Sahel in Tunisian Division I where he played this season. Odigie helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. He also played earlier that season for Al Ansar (SBL) in Saudi Arabian league.
Thanks to Odigie's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Odigie has played previously professionally in Argentina (Ameghino).

Hoppers loss on the road, as Pillars go past Mentors in Abuja - 2 days ago
Rivers Hoopers basketball club of Port Harcourt fell 93-57 road loss to Kwara Falcons on Thursday at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Kwara Stadium, Ilorin. The KingsMen started the game in a lackadaisical manner, lacking patience on the ball from the onset, missing point blank layup...   [read more]
Hoppers coach, Odaudu confident of sustaining wining streak on the road - 4 days ago
After playing 9 games in the 2016/2017 Kwese Premier Basketball league, winning 8 games in succession including 7 home wins, many still doubt the potentials of the River state owned basketball team, Rivers Hoopers. Some basketball enthusiasts believe such run of form would be difficult for the Ogoh Odaudu-led team to sustain when they face their bulky away schedule. As much as one may be tempted to agree that the new players in the squad have made meaningful quota to the team's success...   [read more]
