Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (Pepsi LBL) inked experienced 34-year old Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-109kg-83, college: Hartford, agency: SDJ Sports). He started the season at Final Genclik in Turkish TBL league. In 19 games he recorded 13.2ppg, 13.8rpg and 1.0apg this season. The last summer Adeleke played at Nacional in Uruguayan Ascenso where in 16 games he averaged impressive 18.7ppg, 15.3rpg (leader !!!) and 1.9apg.
In 2006 Butte Daredevils selected him as second overall pick in CBA draft.
Adeleke attended University of Hartford and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements he received Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TB2L 3rd Team award back in 2014.
Adeleke is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to thirteen different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Adeleke has played previously professionally in Argentina (Instituto), Bulgaria, China (Henan), Dominican Rep., Israel, Italy, Philippines (Barako Bull and Phoenix), Puerto Rico (Manati), Spain (Gipuzkoa), Ukraine (Cherkasy), Venezuela (Trotamundos), Uruguay (Goes) and D-League (Springfield A.).
His game is described as: A left handed center with great working attitude, who is fundamentally sound and can help his team at the both sides of the court. Needs to improve his Free Throw accuracy and to become less foul-prone.
