Polfarmex Kutno inks Obi Emegano - Feb 28, 2017

Obi Emegano
AZS Polfarmex Kutno (PLK) agreed terms with 24-year old British-Nigerian guard Obi Emegano (190-98kg-93, college: ORU). He supposed to play at Novipiu Casale in Italian Serie A2, but left the team in Dec.'16. In 9 games he had 11.4ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.6spg this season. He was also voted All-Summit League 1st Team in 2015 and 2016 at his college time.
Emegano's team made it to the Summit League Tournament Semifinals in 2015.
Emegano graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2016 and it is his first season as a professional player.

AEK Athens (A1) added to their roster 30-year old Nigerian power forward Chinemelu Elonu (206-107kg-87, college: Texas A&M). After the end of the current contract that the Nigerian power forward has in Puerto Rico, he will join forces with AEK Athens. It is actually his comeback to Athens as he has played here before. Ironi Nes-Ziona (Winner League) agreed terms with 27-year old Nigerian forward Talib Zanna (206-104kg-90, college: Pittsburgh, agency: 3Eye). He played last season at JSF Nanterre in French ProA, but left the team in Apr.'17. In 25 games he had 7.8ppg and 3.6rpg.
