Nnamaka
Uppsala Basket (Basketligan) re-signed experienced 39-year old former Swedish international power forward Oluoma Nnamaka (201-100kg-78, college: Marquette). He has a double citizenship as he also holds Nigerian passport. Nnamaka has played there for the last four seasons. In 48 Basketligan games he averaged 8.7ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.0apg and 1.1spg in 2014-15 season. Nnamaka helped them to make it to the final.
Among other achievements he received Eurobasket.com All-Italian Lega2 2nd Team award back in 2008.
Nnamaka was a member of Swedish international program for some years. He was called to Swedish Senior National Team between 1997 and 2013 and previously for University National Team in 2001.
Nnamaka has played previously professionally in Germany (Telekom Baskets) and Italy (Bondi Ferrara, Betaland Cdo and Novipiu Casale).
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Uppsala.
Nnamaka attended Marquette University until 2002 and it will be his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into His outlook: He is allround player, who can defend almost anyone outside the NBA. His speed and quickness combined with his height and leeping ability makes him very usefull as a "starkiller". Offensive rebounding and strong defence is his best weapons.
