Alvin Mofunanya replaces Kevin Rogers at Al Nasr !! - Jan 8, 2017

Al Nasr Riyadh (SBL) signed 30-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) power forward Alvin Mofunanya (203-95kg-87, college: Fair Dickinson) from Uhud. Mofunanya ended the last season at Al Ansar. He helped them to make it to the cup final. But the most of that year he spent at Al Shamal in Qatari D1 where in 9 games he had very impressive stats: 17.8ppg, 13.2rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0bpg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Mofunanya's team won Qatar Heir Apparent Cup in 2012. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Qatari D1 1st Team back in 2013.
Mofunanya is quite experienced player. He has played on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Mofunanya has played previously professionally in Argentina (Lanus and Union de Sunchales), Qatar (Al Ahli, Al Rayyan and Al Arabi), Saudi Arabia (Al Ittihad) and Libya (Ahly Benghazi).
He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University until 2010 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.
