Sunday 31/07
Tomahawks MBA vs UBC Stormers - 106 : 48
The T'Hawks 100th point was a dunk by Luis Almeida with the assistance of PG Freddy Amushendge.
The T'Hawks starred their new acquisition from the Four 'O' Regions' A Nghixutifwa who had a wondeful game scoring 24 points alone.
Paulo C repeated last weekend's deed but this time over Stormer's Wellington.
Stormers' I Eliaser scored 16 (2 x 3pt), followed by Lauro C with 13 (2 x 3pt) and John M with 10 (2 x 3pt).
T'Hawks' PG Freddy A was the highest scorer with 25 points and enouh assists, followed by the above mentioned Rookie Alan Nghixutifwa 24 (1 x 3pt) and Paulo C with 15 (1 x 3pt). T'Hawks main scorer L Murere had a season low of 9 points while his three point shooter teammate Luis A also scored a season low of 11 (0 x 3pt) points. <Were they having a bad day?>

Civics Suns vs Katutura Titans - 79 : 73
The Clear Essence Squad had an aweful start as they were outscored in the first two quarters. The rest of the game was a replay of the previous match between the two teams with the adding of a dunk by Suns' SG Mpume H on Titans' PG Vivien R which was at the WRONG place at the WRONG time!
Titans' Yobe M had a season low of 9 points in his first game after the return of his long holidays, while National Team's asset Ruben I was fouled out with 8 points (1 x 3pt).
Mpume H was the top scorer for the Suns with 22 (1 x 3pt), followed by Eric N 17 (3 x 3pt), while David S AKA Akiti and Ramah M (1 x 3pt) both scored 11 points apiece.
Titans' Paulus H was the highest scorer for his team with 21 points (4 x 3pt), followed by Adeyemi A with 14 and Team Captain Corbin P with 12.

Poly Blues vs NDF Carabinieri - 80 : 67
"He was hot, he is tough and he is BD da Silva!"
This was a tough match for the Carabinieri squad as the Blues were unstoppable in everyway, from the FT line to the 3pt line. Some might say that Carabinieri's MVP Paulus P was not fed on the post as often as usual and that led to their defeat, while some might say that Poly Blues' were just "ON"!
Carabinieri's J Shapumba was their highest scorer with 18 points ( 4 x 3pt), followed by Paulus P with 16 and  S Justice with 15 (3 x 3pt), while Mandume S had 9 points (all from the 3pt line).
Poly Blues' BD da Silva hit 28 points (3 x 3pt in a row), followed by Center Taara with 13, Akser K with 12 (1 x 3pt) and Longo P with 11 (3 x 3pt).

The Tomahawks MBA, the Civics Suns and the Poly Blues are the teams that went through to the 2nd Round of the KBA Cup. One of this teams is going to meet the UBC Rebels, which are one of the favourite contenders.

On the Women side, 1st round will be played with the men's 2nd round.
