The teams taking part in the men's tournament are:
UNAM Rebels (Khomas Champion)
Oshakati (North Champion)
Rundu (Kavango Champion)
Katima (Caprivi Champion)
Civics Suns Khomas (Khomas Runner-up)

The teams taking part in the women's tournament are:
Poly Dodgers (Khomas Champion)
Oshakati (North Champion)
Rundu (Kavango Champion)
Katima (Caprivi Champion)
Tomahawks WBA (Khomas Runner-up)

The teams are expected to arrive in that town on thursday morning and the qualification round is taking place on that Thursday evening and the whole of Friday in a "single round robin system" while the Saturday was reserved for the Semi-Finals and the Finals only.

The Qualification round will be played in a 2 x 10 min stopped, 3 fouls out match; While the Semi-Finals will be played in 2 x 15 min stopped, 4 fouls out match. The Finals will be full out games.
