Plaza Warriors won 2013 KBA league - Nov 26, 2013

With some weeks of delay we are able to inform that Plaza Warriors Windhoek won the 2013 edition of Namibian First Division, also named KBA League.
After ending only at fifth place the regular season, the Plaza Warriors made an imporessive comeback during the playoff phase, defeating in final series #3 ranked Tomahawks BC 2-1, led by Zimbabwean import Michael Banda (193-G/F-81), who was named the Finals MVP.

DHL Titans became 2016 champions - 8 months ago
DHL Titans became 2016 champions. In the Final series they beat the Lions 3-1 in the KBA 2016 league finals. They grabbed the win at the UNAM gym hall. After being tied at 1-1, DHL Titans posted another two victories to clinch the title. Earlier in the Semifinals DHL Titans overcame the Wolves.   [read more]
Under 20 Team Departs for Ausc Games in Angola - 10 months ago
Team Namibia left for Luanda, Angola yesterday for the 2016 African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region Five Under-20 Youth Games, which start on Wednesday and end on 19 December. Namibia will compete in football (women), basketball (men), track and field events, boxing, netball, swimming and tennis.
