Ephrem Davis
Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves (SBL) strengthened their roster this past week with the addition of 28-year old American center Ephrem Davis (203-95kg-86). He moved there from Fer.Beira in Mozambican D1 league where he started the season. This season Davis played at Windy City in U.S. semi-pro league IBA. The last (12-13) season he played at Al Najma (Premier League) in Bahrain where he averaged 21ppg, 13rpg and 3bpg.
The previous (2012) summer Davis played at Tigers. In 25 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.0ppg, 10.6rpg and 1.1apg. He received USCAA Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2010.
Davis has played also professionally in Uruguay (Circulo), Canada (Axemen) and UBA (Columbus Cr.).
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Ephrem is a very athletic at the 4/5 spot. Ephrem is a great rebounder and very athletic.

Ferroviario de Maputo celebrate the title in the country as they won the Final series against Ferroviario da Beira. In the last game Ferroviario de Maputo posted a final 69-56 win to seal the trophy. The second period was decisive in the game as Ferroviario de Maputo exploded with a 24-4 surge to take the lead in the game. Bojan Sekicki (188-PG-87) was named MVP of the Finals.
