Daryl McCoy
Ferroviario Beira (D1) agreed terms with American power forward Daryl McCoy (206-127kg, agency: GameTime Management). He should be a helpful addition for their African Club Championships games. McCoy just graduated from Drexel (NCAA). In 29 games he had 4.4ppg, 8.6rpg and 1.0apg this season. The last season he played also at Drexel University in Colonial Athletic Association Conference in the NCAA. In 33 games he recorded 4.3ppg and 6.8rpg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the CAA Tournament final.
As mentioned above McCoy is just out of the college and it will be his first season as a pro.
On McCoy: A true 4/5 on both sides of the ball who is a physical, strong defender and rebounder. Back-to-the-basket scorer. Drexel's #5 all-time rebounder and is as tough as he plays - he missed only two games in his four-year career at Drexel.
