The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of MAS Fes (0-1) in Al Hoceima. Visitors were defeated by CRA Hoceima (1-0) 57-49. CRA Hoceima will play against IRT Tanger (#4) on the road in the next round. MAS Fes will play against IRAN and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Rabat. Local FAR Rabat (1-0) outscored KAC (0-1) 112-34 on Monday night. MAS Maghreb Fez-AS Sale 59-87 AS Sale celebrated Morocco Throne Cup 2017/2018 title beating MAS Maghreb Fez in the Final game 87-59. They grabbed a 28-7 lead and then had a massive 43-18 halftime advantage. The third quarter ended up with 68-38 lead and then AS Sale continued their dominance. IRAN Ithri Rif Nador (D1) agreed terms with 31-year old American forward Josiah Whitehead (198-102kg-86, college: Robert Morris). He played last season at played at Athleta in Maltese Division 1. He helped them to win the Supercup and end the regular season as the second best team in the league.
