Antowine
Lamb
FSU Selfoss (D1) landed 30-year old American forward Antowine Lamb (203-111kg-88, college: McPherson). He started the season at ASS Sale in Moroccan D1 league. The last season Lamb played at IRT Tanger.
He received KCAC Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2010 at his college time.
Lamb is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to five different countries on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Lamb has played previously professionally in China, Switzerland (BCKE Wallabies), Nicaragua (Sinsa-Tigres) and IBL (Santa Barbara B.).
He attended McPherson College until 2010 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
Lamb's game is described as: A smart, energetic and high flying player that can play both 3 and 4. Can handle the ball and get to the rim at will. Plays powerful inside and is a great defender and shot blocker. Consistent at shooting mid range jumpers and can shoot the 3 well but can improve on the long range jumper. Knows how to move without the ball and get his teammates open. Also is a tremendous rebounder on both offense and defense boards.
