D1 Round 14: MAS Fes defeat WAC in the closest game of the week - Apr 14, 2017

The most exciting game of round 14 in the D1 took place in Fes. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers WAC (8-3) to fifth ranked MAS Fes (8-4) 74-73 on Wednesday evening. MAS Fes have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with FAR Rabat. WAC at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. MAS Fes is looking forward to face FAR Rabat (#4) at home in the next round. WAC will play against IRT Tanger and is hoping to win this game.
D1 top team - ASS Sale (11-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked IRT Tanger (4-6) 89-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of IRT Tanger. ASS Sale have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-1 record. IRT Tanger at the other side dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. ASS Sale will play against FUS Rabat (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. IRT Tanger will play against WAC and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked RSB Berkane (0-11) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 11th consecutive match to seventh ranked KACM (6-6) 67-50 on Wednesday evening. KACM moved-up to sixth place. RSB Berkane at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with 11 games lost. KACM will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. RSB Berkane will play against KAC (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

KACM will have a break next round. FUS Rabat will play at home against the league's leader ASS Sale (#1) and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 14 IRAN lost to FAR Rabat on the opponent's court 82-90. FUS Rabat outscored KAC in a home game 64-43.

KACM - FUS Rabat 85-79

Very expected game when 10th ranked IRAN (1-11) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked FAR Rabat (8-4) 90-82. FAR Rabat maintains fourth position with 8-4 record, which they share with MAS Fes. IRAN lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost. FAR Rabat's next round opponent will be MAS Fes (#5) on the road. IRAN will play against the league's second-placed CRA Hoceima (#2) in Al Hoceima and hope to win that game.

KACM - RSB Berkane 67-50

FUS Rabat's next round opponent will be league's leader ASS Sale at home and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. KAC will play against RSB Berkane (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
