After a historic victory of ASS in the tournament of Dubai,the national team has to be prepared for the imperative for a participation in Congo for the next AfroBasket.
Since Morocco clinch the second place of the Panarabs games in Egypt,
the coach Said Bouzidi is again on charge of the red ang green team for the qualification of the FIBA Zone 1.
3 games to qualificate against Algeria,Tunisia and Lybia.

The roster:

Khalfi,Lahrichi,Choua,Kourdou,Rhalimi,El Masbahi,Najah,Zouita,Nesba,WIlkins,Nadim,Makssoud,Ouahrig,Foulani,Abousallam.

The game had a very big importance for fifth-ranked FAR Rabat as it allowed them to take a leadership position. FAR Rabat defeated 8th ranked FUS Rabat at home 68-60. The game between second ranked CRA Hoceima (11-2) and fifth ranked FAR Rabat (9-6) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. CRA Hoceima was defeated by FAR Rabat in a tough game in Al Hoceima 66-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CRA Hoceima. FAR Rabat maintains fifth place with 9-6 record. Division 1 update - 7 days ago
In Division 1, CPAM Midelt claimed the North title with a clean win against Imzouren yesterday. The South remains in a three-way tie for first with one game yet to play. The tie is between Essaouira, Khouribga, and Safi. Division 1 waits for division excellence to conclude their season before playing a complementary 'title match' between the two pools.
