D1 Round 10: CRA Hoceima keeps a leadership position - Jan 24, 2017

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked CRA Hoceima as it allowed them to take a leadership position. CRA Hoceima smashed 4th ranked KACM in Al Hoceima 75-53. Undefeated CRA Hoceima (7-0) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newly promoted KACM dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. KACM will play next round against ASS Sale trying to get back on the winning streak. CRA Hoceima will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked FAR Rabat on the road.
Bottom-ranked RSB Berkane is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to ninth ranked IRT Tanger (3-5) 85-51. IRT Tanger moved-up to seventh place, which they share with FUS Rabat. Newly promoted RSB Berkane still closes the standings with eight games lost.
The game in Rabat was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked MAS Fes (5-4) played at the court of 7th ranked FUS Rabat (3-5). MAS Fes managed to secure a 9-point victory 78-69 on Saturday. MAS Fes moved-up to fourth place. FUS Rabat lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with IRT Tanger. MAS Fes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. FUS Rabat will play against ASS Sale (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 10 IRT Tanger lost to undefeated ASS Sale on the road 62-83. FAR Rabat destroyed KAC on its own court 74-50.

ASS Sale - IRT Tanger 83-62

No shocking result in a game when top-ranked ASS Sale (4-0) crushed at home 9th ranked IRT Tanger (3-5) 83-62 on Wednesday. ASS Sale have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place. IRT Tanger at the other side dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with FUS Rabat. ASS Sale will meet KACM (#6) in the next round. IRT Tanger will have a break next round.

Very expected game when 8th ranked KAC (3-6) was smashed on the road by third ranked FAR Rabat (6-3) 74-50 on Saturday. FAR Rabat have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 6-3 record behind leader CRA Hoceima. Newly promoted KAC dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. FAR Rabat will meet at home league's leader CRA Hoceima in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KAC will have a break next round.

IRT Tanger - RSB Berkane 85-51
