The game had a very big importance for second-ranked WAC as it allowed them to take a leadership position. WAC edged 5th ranked FUS Rabat in Casablanca 70-69. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. FUS Rabat at the other side dropped to the sixth place with two games lost.
Bottom-ranked IRAN (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for their first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 62-56 loss to sixth ranked KACM (3-1) in Nador. KACM have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. IRAN at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with six games lost.

Loser IRT Tanger keeps the ninth position with two games lost.

Bottom-ranked IRAN (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for their first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 62-56 loss to sixth ranked KACM (3-1) in Nador. D1 top team - ASS Sale (16-2) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed tenth ranked IRAN (2-16) 120-77. ASS Sale have an impressive series of five victories in a row. The Fiba published the results of the draw for the African Qualifiers. Morocco will face the Democratic Republic of Congo,Angola and Egypt. The games will start in November 24th 2017 against Angola. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. The round 20 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results. Leader ASS Sale delivered the fifteenth win on Saturday night. This time they beat 5th ranked MAS Fes (10-7) 81-69. ASS Sale have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 15-2 record. MAS Fes lost third consecutive game.
