The game had a very big importance for second-ranked WAC as it allowed them to take a leadership position. WAC edged 5th ranked FUS Rabat in Casablanca 70-69. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. FUS Rabat at the other side dropped to the sixth place with two games lost.
Bottom-ranked IRAN (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for their first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 62-56 loss to sixth ranked KACM (3-1) in Nador. KACM have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. IRAN at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with six games lost.

Morocco won his first game against Algeria. - 12 days ago
For the qualification of the CAN 2017,the moroccan team won 76-71 against Algeria. Very difficult game in the beginning for the Lions of Atlas who took the lead during the second QT. Al Mina (Superleague) agreed terms with American swingman Bobby Brown (201-G/F, college: Alabama State). He was close to start his pro career atMAS Fes in Moroccan D1 league but eventually did not sign contract. Brown graduated from Alabama State in 2016 and it is his first season as a professional player.
