D1 Round 5: WAC lose to CRA Hoceima - Dec 15, 2016

There was a change at the D1 leadership position after last games. The most important game of round 5 took place in Al Hoceima between two undefeated teams where CRA Hoceima edged WAC (3-1) 61-58 on Monday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of WAC. It was a key game for the top position in the league. CRA Hoceima have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. WAC at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by CRA Hoceima.
Undefeated IRT Tanger (1-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked FAR Rabat (3-2) 86-77. FAR Rabat moved-up to third place, which they share with MAS Fes. IRT Tanger at the other side dropped to the ninth position with one game lost.
Bottom-ranked IRAN (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to ninth ranked FUS Rabat (2-1) 86-73 on Saturday evening. FUS Rabat moved-up to fifth place, which they share with KACM. Newly promoted IRAN still closes the standings with five games lost.
The game in Fes supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked KAC (2-3) played at the court of sixth ranked MAS Fes (3-2). MAS Fes did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 73-53. MAS Fes moved-up to third place, which they share with FAR Rabat. Newly promoted KAC dropped to the seventh position with three games lost.

IRT Tanger - FAR Rabat 77-86

Undefeated IRT Tanger (1-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked FAR Rabat (3-2) 86-77. FAR Rabat moved-up to third place, which they share with MAS Fes. IRT Tanger at the other side dropped to the ninth position with one game lost.
