MaJic Dorsey
FAR Rabat (D1) re-signed American point guard MaJic Dorsey (185, college: S.Indiana, agency: Three Eye Sports). He played there last season. Dorsey also played that season for Al Wakrah where in three D1 games he averaged impressive 18.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 5.3apg and 1.0spg. The other team he played shortly was Al Gezira (Superleague) in Egypt in African Cup Championship he was best 5th scorer in the competition and he averaged 15.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.6apg, 1.7spg, FGP: 45.5%, 3PT: 37.1%, FT: 69.0% in 7 games.
In 2006 (a year after his graduation) Anaheim Arsenal selected him as 0th overall pick in NBA draft. He graduated from University of Southern Indiana in 2005 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Dorsey won Equador National League championship title in 2012. He received also Afrobasket.com All-Egyptian Superleague Player of the Year award and Afrobasket.com All-Egyptian Superleague Guard of the Year award in 2015.
Dorsey is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on five different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. Dorsey has played previously professionally in Colombia (Piratas), Cyprus (Apollon), Iraq (Duhok), Mexico (Halcones UV Xalapa, Meteoros and Aguilas Rojas), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli Jeddah) and Venezuela (Guaros).
Let's have closer look into His outlook: BESEENHOOP.COM Scouting Report Lightning quick point guard, his 4th gear is quicker than most pg's but that 5th gear is a blur. You need to pause the tape and play it one frame at a time to really appreciate his speed and athleticism. Makes his teammates better with his penetration, shooting, and play making ability all brought about by good decision making at full speed. High level pro player. That generates into a fan favorite where ever he play. Have the skills to run a NBA team.
