Matthew Hezekiah (ex Maccabi H/H) joins IRT Tanger - Nov 29, 2016

IRT Tanger (D1) agreed terms with 24-year old American power forward Matthew Hezekiah (206-107kg-92, college: South Carolina State, agency: SDJ Sports). He played last season at Maccabi Hod Hasharon in Israeli National League. Hezekiah also played that season for Nishinomiya in Japanese NBL where in 10 games he had 4.5ppg and 3.2rpg.
Two years ago he was drafted by Sioux Falls Skyforce (D-League) in fourth round (69th overall).
The former South Carolina State standoutis in his third season in pro basketball.
His team made it to the Czech Republic Cup Final Four in 2015.
Hezekiah has played previously professionally in Greece (Panionios) and Czech Republic (BK Pardubice).
