Moroccan club AS Sale defeated Egypt's SC Alexandria team 76-72 on Wednesday in Sousse as part of the final round of the Arab Club basketball championship (Group A). The Moroccan team, who finished with four consecutive wins, finished at the top of their Group (8 pts) and will play in the quarterfinals the club of DS Grombalia, 4th in Group B (5 pts) who conceded defeat in their last match Wednesday against Qatar team of Al Gharafa (54-60). Etoile du Sahel, the organizing club, secured the first place in Group B (8 pts) after winning all the matches in the first round. In the next round, the Tunisian team, title holder, will play the Saudi team of Al Fath, 4th in Group A.
