Maghreb de Fes agreed terms with 56 years old well known Serbian coach in Middle east region coach Dejan Tomic to be new head coach of senior team for season 2016-2017.
Coach Dejan who arrived to Morocco two weeks ago has coached Al Hilal Riyadh club last season, it wasn't first experience for coach Dejan in Saudi Arabia .. he coached Al Ahli Jeddah club season 2013-2014 also Saudi Senior and Youth National teams from 2003 until 2007, beside his experience in Saudi Arabia he coached Al Sadd Qatari team season 2012-2013 and he won the league title for first time in the club history, he added another great achievement in same season when he leaded the team to won the Gulf Championship which held in Oman 2013.
The expert serbian coach coached in Kuwait club between 2007 until 2012 and he took several positions in that club, also he has coaching experience in Serbia, Cyprus and Singapore before. he was head coach of several Yugoslavian youth national teams between 1996 until 2003.

D1 top team - ASS Sale (16-2) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed tenth ranked IRAN (2-16) 120-77. ASS Sale have an impressive series of five victories in a row. African Qualifiers 2019 China - 20 days ago
The Fiba published the results of the draw for the African Qualifiers. Morocco will face the Democratic Republic of Congo,Angola and Egypt. The games will start in November 24th 2017 against Angola. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. The round 20 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results. Leader ASS Sale delivered the fifteenth win on Saturday night. This time they beat 5th ranked MAS Fes (10-7) 81-69. ASS Sale have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 15-2 record. MAS Fes lost third consecutive game.
