EU: Corey, thank you to worthwhile to talking to us and congratulate for the winning tonight. What's your feeling about the league in Morocco for your first year in Rabat? CA:Thanks a lot for talking with me and the league in Morocco is a tough not the basketball part but the other part dealing with the fans and some of the different courts that we play on adapting to the environment and not letting it throw you off your game every team dont have a gym like our home gym so thats a challenge and as far as my first year in rabat it was very challenging in the beginning dealing with some of the off the court situations but that was because we wasnt sure if there was going to be a season or not but now that everything is all fixed i enjoy it here and love the way me and the team is playing right now.
EU:After your D-league,Chinese and turkish experience what's your next goals in your carreer? CA:im not sure whats my next goal at this point i honestly believe with my shooting ability and the ability to score the ball and get hot at any sec during a game i really want ot play in a big league i was in turkey second division where i didnt play well it was my first time in europe a learning experience and now im ready to either get back there or get to a bigger league and really show them what i can do.
EU:At your opinion which team from your group has also chance to play for the championship? CA:i think from our group anybody WAC, us, FUS, and Sporplaza all have great shots at winning the championship they are all good teams and very well coached we just have to continue to play good team basketball and good defense and have to rebound the basketball to finish out defensive possessions i think we have enough fire power offensively to score with anyone but we going win games by our defense and us rebounding.
EU: Do you think the pressure is bigger in Morocco that another country with the very actice fans? CA:no i wouldnt say bigger pressure i think every country has its on pressure depending on the level of basketball your playing at but morocco does have a lot of pressure specially away with the fans being rowdy and hostile at some places and really loud and cheering for the home team that alone is alot of pressure to stay focus on the task at hand trying to win a basketball game .
EU: Eurobasket wish to Corey a great end of season and hope to see a lot of good performance from him and his team. CA: Thanks alot i really appreciate you talking with me and i hope we are able to bring the championship back to SALE for our fans.
