ASS Sale earned the D1 title. They overcame Essaouira 97:75 in the Final held in Nador. ASS Sale led from start to finish clinching a well-deserved victory at the end. Therefore ASS Sale completed the third double in the teams history. They won both League and Throne Cup titles. Previous triumphs came in 2010 and 2011. RST Tanger earned the D1 Bronze medals. They prevailed against CRA Hoceima 77:53 in the consolation final.

Yesterday in the Final Four played in Guelmim for the Cup of Throne -14.WIth a first QT pretty disputed between ASS and ASE,slowly the red team of Sale started to impose their game style on scoring basket on fastbreak and hitting early shoots.Ase tried to keep the team alive on pushing inside and with the creativity of Mustapha Khalfi (173-PG-80). In the second QT on tied game, ASS continued to push and put a another speed level on the game to block the assault and the organisation of the ASE.Dane Johnson (208-C-86, college: Hofstra) tried to impose his size and physic inside the paint and Younes Idrissi (203-C/F-84, college: Iona) hits cupples shoots behind the arc but the belgian -moroccan Yacine Baeri (196-G/F-89, agency: Promotex) showed to the crowd his shooting abilities on scoring cupples three's. The third and fourth QT proved the domination of the ASS on the league this year with a PG leader Jerime Anderson (187-PG-89, college: UCLA) that probably deserve the MVP trophy of this final. Dane Johnson continue to try to help his troop inside with the young Mohamed Choua.But Yacine Baeri and Abdelhakim Zouita (200-F-86), Zakaria El Masbahi (192-G/F-79) and the dominator Abderrahim Najah (198-F/C-84) dont let the ASE come back on the game.This is the second final in 3 years for the Coach Said Bouzidi and hopefully the moroccan technician will continue with another win on the championship.
