The Mauritius basket - ball season 2005 activities ended yesterday with the Men Masters final between the Real and the USBBRH and the women Masters Final between the CJSOI and the Hoops.

 

Men:


For the men, the Real ended the season with another title by beating the USBBRH on the score of 97 to 94.

 

 

Women:


As for the women, the Hoops also ended the season in a great manner by dominating the young team of the CJSOI on the score of 124 to 26. They are now set for next year CCCOI championship.

 


So, basket - ball Fans, this is the end of a great basket - ball year that we had together and as expected, it was a really interesting one. Hope to see u next year, as I will be on holiday for a few days but I'll be back on the 10th of January to keep u aware of the next great season 2006 that lies ahead of us. So, till next time, merry x-mas and happy new year to u all!!!

 

A special merry x-mas to the mother of Jason Howie - U can be proud of ur boy coz he is not only a great player but also, a great person.

BCM Mayotte celebrate Indian Ocean Club Championship Cup title - 3 Years ago
BCM Mayotte earned the Indian Ocean Club Championship Cup trophy. They overcame PLS Hawks 72:59 for the trophy. PLS Hawks had to win by six points to bag the title but BCM Mayotte lived up to the challenge. They dominated throughout the encounter posting a well-deserved win at the end. Ouirdane MLadrou scored 20 points to lead the winners. Real claim 18th League title - 3 Years ago
Real earned the National League title. The victory marked the 18th success in the teams history. They overcame Mahebourg Flippers in the championship series. Real earned a 62:51 victory in the first game of the series. Real stayed dominant during the second game. They recorded a 42:35 halftime lead. Real did not slow down after the breather and sealed an 85:70 win to celebrate the trophy. Thierry Julie and Jonathan Jules led the teams in scoring.   [read more]

The Real BC preparing for the season - 5 Years ago
The Real BC Port Louis is starting the training, in order to prepare themselves for the coming league, to defend their prestigious record of champonships won. Many teams are getting ready, players, motivated for the so awaited league to start. With a change in the federation, the players, coaches, supporters hope that the league will be soon organised and launched. The starting date has not yet been announces, but it is believed that it will soon be the case.    [read more]
