Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Malians who are currently playing abroad.

Amara Sy
Amara Sy
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international forward Amara Sy (202-81, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in France). He managed to help AS Monaco Basket in a victory against the league outsider Sluc Nancy (8-26) 97-89 in the French ProA in Saturday night's game. Sy scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes on the court. AS Monaco Basket (30-4) is placed first in the ProA. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Sy averages: 7.7ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 53.2%, 3FGP: 27.3% and FT: 76.6% in 33 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Mali and French. Sy played for the Mali senior national team six years ago.

Boubacar Sidibe
Boubacar Sidibe
#2. Second place goes to former international center Boubacar Sidibe (205-94, currently plays in Spain). Sidibe could not help Blancos de Rueda (17-13) in their last game. Despite his good performance Blancos de Rueda was edged 66-63 on the road by the lower-ranked (#8) Moron. Sidibe was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 3 blocks in 29 minutes. This year Sidibe's overall stats are: 6.4ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.5bpg, 2FGP: 48.6%, 3FGP: 23.5% in 31 games. He played for the Mali national team in 2015.

Sambou Traore
Sambou Traore
#3. The Mali player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Sambou Traore (198-79, currently plays in France). Traore led Chorale de Roanne to a victory against the closely-ranked Saint-Quentin (13-20) 81-77 in the French ProB (second division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Chorale de Roanne Basket (14-19) is placed 12th in the ProB. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. Traore's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Traore's total stats this season are: 3.0ppg, 1.7rpg, 2FGP: 53.1%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 28.6%. He is another player who holds two passports: Mali and French. Traore played for the Mali national team two years ago.

Drissa Ballo
Drissa Ballo
#4. Center Drissa Ballo (208-95, currently plays in France) was not able to help Aix-Maurienne in their game against Nantes (17-16) in the French ProB (second division). Ballo scored 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. The bottom-ranked Aix-Maurienne was defeated 92-84 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked Nantes (#8). His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Ballo's total stats this season are: 4.9ppg and 4.1rpg. He used to play for the Mali national team back in 2015.

The list of other players, who all have Mali passport but never been selected to any of Mali national teams:
