Amara Sy
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international forward Amara Sy (202-81, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in France). He managed to help AS Monaco Basket in a victory against the league outsider Sluc Nancy (8-26) 97-89 in the French ProA in Saturday night's game. Sy scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes on the court. AS Monaco Basket (30-4) is placed first in the ProA. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Sy averages: 7.7ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 53.2%, 3FGP: 27.3% and FT: 76.6% in 33 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Mali and French.
