We bring you last week's top performances from Malians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Mohamed Bah (206, currently plays college basketball in the States), who plays in the NCAA. He could not help the one of league's weakest teams Drexel (3-11) in their last game. Despite Bah's very good performance the Drexel lost 56-65 on the road to the Elon University.
He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 12 rebounds in 29 minutes on the court.
Bah's team will play only one more game in the NCAA Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
It's Bah's fourth season with the team.
This year he averages: 3.9ppg, 3.3rpg, 2FGP: 65.3%(32-49) and FT: 56.7% in 21 games he played so far.
Bah played for the Mali senior national team two years ago.
#2. Second place goes to former international swingman Sourata Cisse (196-86, currently plays in France). He led Orchesien BC to a victory against the closely-ranked Souffelweyersheim (17-7) 74-69 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday.
Cisse scored 11 points and added 4 passes.
BC Orchies (15-9) is placed fifth in the NM1.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Cisse's first season with the team.
