Drissa Ballo
Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket (ProB) agreed terms with 21-year old Mali ex-international center Drissa Ballo (207-95). He will still stay in France as he played last season at Hyeres-Toulon (ProA). In 33 games Ballo had 3.3ppg and 4.7rpg. ProB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the league title.
The previous (14-15) season Ballo played at JDA Dijon (also in ProA). ProA was a little too high level for him, where in 5 games he did not score anything and had only 3 rebounds. ProB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. His team made it to the French Cup Semifinals. Ballo also played 2 games in Eurocup where he recorded just 2.5ppg and 1.0rpg. ProB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
Ballo represented Mali at the Afrobasket Championships in Rades (Tunisia) last year. His stats at that event were 7 games: 4.7ppg, 4.3rpg.
