Ascut advanced to the FIBA Africa Champions Cup as they won Zone 7 qualifier. In the decisive game the team from Madagascar overcame Vautour Basket 76-57. They opened the game with a 13-9 run and led 36-23 at the halftime. Lalason Ratsimbazafy (193-F/G-92) top-scored for the winners with 22 points, while Ibrahim Ahmed(184-G-79) collected 13 points and 11 rebounds. GNBC Vakinakaratra clinch the title in Madagascar as they rolled over COSPN 105-81 in the Final game. GNBC opened the game with a massive 27-13 surge and never looked behind. They added a 29-19 rally in the second period as both teams scored the same number of points in the third and the last quarters. Francis Mory stepped up with 33 points to pace the winners and Henintsoa Ramaromanana (86) posted 18. Jean Rakotoarisoa answered with 22 points in a loss.   [read more]

SBBC keep the perfect record on top producing the 11th win in a row. GNBC improved to a 9-1 record beating TTS 74-70 in the latest game. Constant Mandimbison top-scored for the winners with 20 points and 15 rebounds, whilst Solonirina Ramorasata added 15. Franck Ramaroson ended up with 21 points in the losing effort. ASCUT meanwhile is third with a 9-2 record beating JBC Atsimo Andrefana 99-58.   [read more]
