The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Nasr as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Nasr smashed 4th placed Al Hilal in Benghazi 72-44. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Al Hilal. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Al Hilal at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. Al Hilal will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Nasr will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Morog in Almarj.
Bottom-ranked El Nasr Zliten (0-10) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to fourth ranked Al Madina (6-5) 66-45. Al Madina maintains fourth place with 6-5 record. Newly promoted El Nasr Zliten still closes the standings with ten games lost.
