Round 6 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Nasr (6-1). They were defeated by second ranked Ahly Benghazi (6-1) 60-55 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Ahly Benghazi keeps a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Nasr. Nasr will play next round against Al Tahaddi trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will travel locally in Benghazi to the arena of Al Tahaddi. Ahly Benghazi will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Al Tahaddi. It will be extra interesting game as Al Tahaddi is their local rival from Benghazi.
Important game to mention about took place in Tobruk. Fifth ranked Ichaa (5-4) saved a 1-point derby victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Al Madina (5-4) 58-57 in the game for the third place. Ichaa moved-up to third place, which they share with Al Madina and Al Yarmook. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
D1 top team - Al Ittihad (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Olympic (2-8) in Zawiya 79-40. Al Ittihad have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-0 record. Olympic lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Ahly Benghazi - Nasr 60-55

Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1) tabbed experienced 35-year old Tunisian ex-international guard Mohamed Dhifallah (196-95kg-82) to play African qualify for clubs zone (1). Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1) signed 28-year old American point guard Dion Dixon (190-89, college: Cincinnati) to play with team in African qualify zone ( 1 ).
