Kaposvari KK (A Division) landed 28-year old American (has also Liberian passport) point guard Jaytornah Wisseh (185-88, college: LIU Brooklyn). He is a well-known player in Slovakian SBL as he played most recently at BC Prievidza in Slovakian SBL league. In 46 games Wisseh was fifth best scorer with 12.7ppg and recorded 2.8rpg, 7.0apg (leader !!!) and 2.0spg (in top 2) last season. He helped them to win the league title and they also made it to the Cup final. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded All-Slovakian League Guard of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Imports Team. Wisseh also played 5 games in Alpe-Adria-Cup where he averaged impressive 16.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 7.8apg and 1.2spg.
Part of previous (2014-15) season Wisseh spent at Rieker (SBL) in Slovakian league. In 8 games he had very remarkable stats: 22.1ppg, 5.1rpg, 8.8apg and 2.6spg. Wisseh also spent pre-season at MBK Handlova (SBL) in Slovakian league that year. In three games he had 4.0ppg, 3.3rpg and 5.0apg.
The most of 2013-14 season Wisseh spent at Egis Kormend. In 22 A Division games he had 14.5ppg, 4.2rpg, 5.3apg and 1.7spg. The other team Wisseh played that season for was London Lightning (NBL Canada) in Canadian NBL Canada. In 16 games he had 11.7ppg, 2.9rpg and 5.3apg.
Wisseh received All-Alpe Adria Cup Player of the Year award in 2016.
The previous (12-13) season Wisseh played at CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu (Liga Nationala) in Romanian league. In 17 games he had high stats: 17.9ppg, 5.5rpg, 5.8apg (top 3) and 1.8spg. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Romanian League All-Star Game.
He has played previously professionally in Croatia (Kvarner) and Romania (CSU Sibiu).
Wisseh attended Long Island University until 2010 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
He is described as: Strengths: 'leader, high IQ for point guard'.

Nimba Win Basketball, Kickball, Volleyball Titles - 5 months ago
Nimba County has won three of the four events (disciplines) in the 2016/2017 National County Meet. Yesterday, Nimba County retained the kickball trophy, when she whipped Margibi County 4-1 points. On Saturday at the open-air Sports Commission on Broad Street, the Mountainous boy dumped Montserrado 81-79 points. In the Volleyball version, Nimba County also smashed Montserrado 3-1 sets. Thomas Bropleh signs at FC Porto - 6 months ago
Defending champion FC Porto (LPB) landed 25-year old American (has also Liberian passport) guard Thomas Bropleh (196-92kg-91, college: Boise State, agency: Duran International). He played most recently at Texas Legends (D-League) in the U.S., but left the team in Dec.'15. In 9 games he averaged 4.8ppg and 1.8rpg last season.
