Umoja are 2016 Division 1 Champions in Kenya.In the Final series they overcame Zetech Titans 3-2. In Game 5 Umoja grabbed a 51-48 win at the Nyayo Gymnasium. The win means both teams will earn a place in the premier league in the 2017 season.
Earlier Zetech University Titans won Game Four 80-68 to force a 2-2 tie with Umoja at the ongoing Kenya

Kenya Ports Authority will start their Kenya Basketball Federation men's Premier League title defence against Equity Bank in Game One of their best-of-three series play-offs quarter-final at Upper Hill School Saturday from 4pm. Africas Dream Tournament to be held in Mombasa - 15 days ago
The annual Africas Dream Tournament will this year take place in Mombasa on December 9 & 10. The event which is sponsored by former Kenyan international and KCB Lioness point guard Alice Onono, the tournament will feature both boys and girls. This will be the first time Africas Dream is hosting the tournament away from the capital city, Nairobi.
