Umoja are 2016 Division 1 Champions in Kenya.In the Final series they overcame Zetech Titans 3-2. In Game 5 Umoja grabbed a 51-48 win at the Nyayo Gymnasium. The win means both teams will earn a place in the premier league in the 2017 season.
Earlier Zetech University Titans won Game Four 80-68 to force a 2-2 tie with Umoja at the ongoing Kenya

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) could seal back to back Kenya Basketball Federation titles with just two games to spare from their best-of-five series playoffs final against Blades over the weekend. Finals moved to Africa Nazarene University - 27 days ago
The Kenya Basketball Federation Finals will be held at the Africa Nazarene University Helstrom Student Centre on February 17 and 18. A total of 4 finals will be played on both days, in the men's Division Two Finals EMYBA take on KDF Morans at 10 am followed by the Division One women's Finals at noon with Masaku Sparks playing Footprints.
