Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball (ProB) signed 27-year old American (has also Kenyan passport) forward Robert Nyakundi (203-100kg-89, college: SMU). He played last season at Hyeres-Toulon (ProA). In 31 games he had 10.1ppg and 3.3rpg. ProB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. Nyakundi helped them to win the league title.
The previous (14-15) season he played at Liege Basket (Scooore League) in Belgium where in 27 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.3apg and 1.4spg. Nyakundi contributed to his team making it to the cup final.
He was voted NABC Division I All-District 11 2nd Team back in 2012 at his college time.
Nyakundi has played also professionally in Romania (Ploiesti and Steaua CSM EximBank Bucuresti).
He attended Southern Methodist University until 2012 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
