Awich starts his pro career at Montbrison - Jul 24, 2016

BC Montbrison Masculins (NM2) added to their roster 23-year old American (has also Kenyan passport) forward Joel Awich (201-98kg-93). Awich just graduated from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo (NCAA). He has played there for the last five years. In 27 games he had 8.0ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.0bpg last season.
As mentioned above Awich is just out of the college and it will be his first season as a pro.
His college team won Big West Tournament in 2014.

Umoja are 2016 Division 1 Champions in Kenya.In the Final series they overcame Zetech Titans 3-2. In Game 5 Umoja grabbed a 51-48 win at the Nyayo Gymnasium. The win means both teams will earn a place in the premier league in the 2017 season.
