KPA, Flames claim national 3x3 titles - May 14, 2016

KPA men and USIU Flames are the national three-on-three champions after winning the title in at Nyayo National Stadium on May 14. KPA beat Ulinzi Warriors 21-19 in a tough final that saw KPA fight from behind to claim the title. USIU Flames were unbeaten in the ladies category. Also crowned champions are Alliance High School and Parklands Arya in the school category. Zetech University Titans center Franklin Omondi was named the men's MVP while Sarah Chan took home the ladies award. Sila Owuor and Natalie Akinyi won the shooting competition.

Victor Odendo (189-G/F-80), the Kenya Basketball Federation men's Premier League most valuable player in 2015 made his debut for Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) over the weekend in Nairobi. Tobias Onyango (182-G-80) clinched a record fourth Most Valuable Player (MVP) award as Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) beat Co-operative Bank in game four on Sunday to win the 2016 Kenya Basketball Federation men's Premier League title.
